We had workshop with social business the group Culture Matters of university Nanyang Singapore. Project design for investigated on the meaning of Traditional motifs of Laotian textile. About design for : http://designfor.co/about.php  This time, Centre's sewing team tried to design for making porch and bag to use Lao traditional motif together. They had a presentation about the design using Lao textile.  Thank you so much for your supporting us and having a good opportunity to know about production design.Paragraph.

We had a order from one of Japanese customer to make OBI by Lao hand woven fabrics. (These fabrics are customers have , not our products.) This time was our first time sewing OBI. So she showed us to the sample then we try to sew OBI.  We was glad to have a good opportunity, It likes as a training.
We are really appreciate them to give our sewing staff a chance and having a challenge to new work. Houey hong centre are available in special workshop for personal, especially about a hand weaving. In this article,We would like to inform you about it. As the sample, One of a customer could weave OBI that is a belt for Japanese kimono dress in special hand weaving workshop. We arranged of weaving workshop to depend on her plan.
Finally she got a very beautiful work about 13 days. So amazing with her first time weaving, and then we want to tell everyone can do it!  After she finished weaving , She chose another textile to sew OBI which reversible with a different design on each side. We are also really glad this work will be her memorial for her staying in Laos. And now, She take her daughter to come again to do trail weaving for first time experience.  Thank you so much for having an awesome memory with them,

One of Japanese cafe in Vientiane is helping us to pick up onion skin for using natural dyes. About the onion skin dye , The onion skin need 2kg to dye silk yarn 1kg. You can enjoy many kinds of teasty Japanese food and sweets in here with a relax time . Our brochure was also putted on the shop to introduce natural dyes and weaving workshop.
