  The other day, Ministry of Justice of Japanese government visited Houey hong.
​  They would like to know about the Lao traditional weaving and dyeing as one kind of Lao's culture.
So they offered to visit to our centre.
  We glad to have a opportunity for them to know about the Centre's activity and Lao traditional culture through the weaving and dyeing.

The leader of this project who's name is Shunta intoroduce about project,
​They would like to share the feeling of Japanese "cute" and Lao's cute at this time.
They also bring some clothes as a donation for our staff to give them direct.
After their introduce finish, we start to cut staff's hair.

The staff who was shy at first was also interested and came to look and said that they want me to cut as well.
Look their face! Every staff is so happy smile with new hair style.
Japanese hair stylists did trial natural dyes and weaving workshop after the lunch to know as one of the culture in Laos.
One of the stylist tried to wear Lao traditional wrap skirt,
​​We were surprised that she looks very nice to wear it.

At the last , they give Japanese shampoo and treatment set to each staff to want them treat hair using it.

  We were worry to held this program at first because staff anaccept to be cut their hair by japanese who are first time person.
Actually every staff were interested about Japanese hair style and beauty to take part in this program.
  We hope that their feelings will enrich through beauty , and then we glad to have a opportunity to exchange Laotian and Japanese beauty culture.

This time, We are support to buy their new design fabric to make our products.
We focused on the characteristics of their cloths which are thick and firm , so it into a tote bag design.

One of Japanese student finished natural dyeing training course this term.
She is in Cambodia now to do natural dyes but she participated in a training course at Houey hong 2 weeks to know about Lao traditional natural dyes.

We were also glad to talk about the natural dyes technique of each country especially Cambodia , Laos and Japan.

What a beautiful color , All color are from natural material.

She said , she are planning to participate in a weaving training course to use yarns that be dyed by herself. Houey hong are available and welcome to that type planning.
