Ikat Workshop 1 - 3 Days
In this course you will learn how to tie the weft yarns on the frame to create your pattern, and set up the yarns for weaving and then weave it. One day does not let you cover much more than the set up, so depending on your weaving knowledge, one day is suitable for weavers wanting to learn the set up. However if you want to make a beautiful piece we recommend allow 2 - 3 days.
COST PER PERSON: $ 30 per person per day.
Note cost is based on one day, so needs to be multiplied by the number of days you choose to learn.
Includes: Training, materials, drinking water and Lao lunch daily.

Natural Colour Course for 6 Days or 1 month
This is a detailed study of all the natural ingredients and dyes that make up the Hoeuy Hong colour range. Over 6 days or 1 month you will be introduced to the plants, flowers, fruits, barks and the mordants that fix each colour. Also the process by which to create the dye.
Cost per person : $ 250 per person for six days
Cost per person : $ 600 per person for 1 month
also includes dyes materials and drinking water except yarn for dyeing. Lunch is own expense.
