There are many ways which you can provide support to Houey Hong to enable us to continue to provide life changing training and experiences to disadvantaged women in Laos.
Visit the Center
Houey Hong offers visitors tours of the Centre, and introductory sessions in the use of natural dyes and silk weaving. The Centre offers half and full day tours, with visitors taking home the silk that they naturally dye and weave. Weaving and dyeing activities are suitable for all ages, with no prior experience necessary. Lunch and transport to the Centre can also be arranged.
Purchase Products
Houey Hong highly skilled staff are able to create a variety of tailored clothing, including skirts, dresses, shirts, jackets and trousers. Houey Hong also produces a range of accessories including scarves, hats, handbags, purses, pencil cases, placemats, coasters and pillowcases.
All products sold through the Centre are made at Houey Hong by the trainees and the Centre’s staff. All funds generated through the sale of products goes directly back to the Centre to help cover costs and to ensure future vocational training.

Sponsor a Training Group
Houey Hong relies on the financial support of external organisations to help cover the costs associated with training women at the Centre. Although the Center does generate an income through its sale of its products and visitor activities, the revenue it creates unfortunately is not enough to cover all the costs associated with providing vocational training, including the trainer wages, materials, equipment, stationary, travel, board and living allowances. is thankful to past and present donors.

Employ our Graduates
Houey Hong is actively networking with other vocational training centres, NGOs and businesses to increase its employment network to assist the women in finding employment at the completion of their training.
