The other day, Ministry of Justice of Japanese government visited Houey hong.
​  They would like to know about the Lao traditional weaving and dyeing as one kind of Lao's culture.
So they offered to visit to our centre.

  We glad to have a opportunity for them to know about the Centre's activity and Lao traditional culture through the weaving and dyeing.

We had workshop with social business the group Culture Matters of university Nanyang Singapore.
Project design for investigated on the meaning of Traditional motifs of Laotian textile.

This time, Centre's sewing team tried to design for making porch and bag to use Lao traditional motif together.

They had a presentation about the design using Lao textile.

One of Japanese cafe in Vientiane is helping us to pick up onion skin for using natural dyes.
​About the onion skin dye , The onion skin need 2kg to dye silk yarn 1kg.
So we are welcome anyone who are interested to support us like this.

You can enjoy many kinds of teasty Japanese food and sweets in here with a relax time .
Our brochure  was also putted on the shop to introduce natural dyes and weaving workshop. 

We are really gratitude for your support and then we wish to be going to keep our activity.

 We could join the National workshop : export promotion to Europe for home deco , home textile & Gifts producers in Laos.
 Organizers were Centre for the promotion of Exports ( CBI ) , Lao Handhicraft Association ( LHA ),and Vietnam Handicraft Exporters.

 A lot of Manufacturers of handicraft in Laos joined this workshop and We had a discussion time about the value chain analysis findings and recommended sector promotion activities.
