Houey hong centre are available in special workshop for personal, especially about a hand weaving. In this article,We would like to inform you about it. As the sample, One of a customer could weave OBI that is a belt for Japanese kimono dress in special hand weaving workshop. We arranged of weaving workshop to depend on her plan.
Finally she got a very beautiful work about 13 days. So amazing with her first time weaving, and then we want to tell everyone can do it!  After she finished weaving , She chose another textile to sew OBI which reversible with a different design on each side. We are also really glad this work will be her memorial for her staying in Laos. And now, She take her daughter to come again to do trail weaving for first time experience.  Thank you so much for having an awesome memory with them,

Does anyone be interested workshop with natural dyed silk scarf and weaving at Houey hong centre? Who wanna try to make your own design scarf, Sin(Lao traditional skirt) or something? At this time , There are two Japanese students of natural dyeing and weaving training. So we would like to introduce about workshop and training at Houey hong.  This student selected weaving workshop to make OBI ( Kimono's belt) by self. Our staff set everything to weave for student, (＊Setting fee do not include in workshop fee.) So, you can take weaving workshop on your schedule. → information more Training is different way in workshop. You will get Lao traditional weaving or natural dyed technique by training course.  This student are training about natural dyed. It will start to learn about refining silk yarn first, ( It is the work that is necessary before dyeing it.) and then you can learn how to dye with natural material. → information more We can arrange in your workshop or training for what would you do.

Last she wore the skirt which she made with oneself and received a certificate from a manager.

We are challenging to do reproduction Lao traditional pattern skirt. We have purpose to keep these Lao weaving technique for the future.

These Lao skirt by houeyhong's hand woven are going to show and sell in Lao Handicraft Festival at Lao-ITECC from October 26 to November 1.
We hope many people will come to see Lao traditional weaving and dyeing technique in this show.
